If you would like to add some variety to to your stay with Coast & Canyon, consider booking a near-shore trip. This still consists of a full day of fishing; however, instead of plowing the canyons in thousands of feet of water, we focus on the tasty species that hang around the underwater structures of the gulf shelf. Common catches include snapper, grouper, amberjack, triggerfish, kingfish and shark. These trips provide endless amounts of excitement. You never know what you’ll bring up when that rod bows! We have both manual crank and electric reel options to match any skill set or physical ability.
